Overview

The whole exhibition in one place.

CuraSpace brings the work on your exhibition together: from the guiding idea through research to texts, planning and loan traffic. CuraSpace builds on your existing system, bundles the processes, and adds exactly the tools your exhibition work needs. Your data and your database stay in your hands.

Module 01

Connection & Research

CuraSpace builds on your existing collection management system. No data migration, no dependency, reversible at any time. Your collection stays entirely yours — with you, in your system.

We only read what we need for the processes: holdings, objects, provenance information, existing texts. On top of that comes research in publicly accessible collections: find objects, review them, and bring them straight into your exhibition planning.

Module 02

Concept & Narrative

An exhibition lives on a guiding idea and a narrative thread running through the rooms. CuraSpace captures this concept as a structure: the guiding idea, sections, and the visitor journey from room to room. Objects, texts and tasks attach to the section they belong to, and stay together there in one place.

From there, the planning of the rooms grows: a floor plan where stations and objects find their place, and the design of digital media stations, from touchscreens to film and projection to audio stations. What you set up here carries through every step that follows.

Module 03

An AI that knows your exhibition

At every stage, from the guiding idea through object selection to room text, the right tool is ready at hand. Because the AI knows the context of your exhibition — guiding idea, visitor path, objects and texts — it checks perspectives, uncovers gaps, sharpens the thesis, and drafts texts for every level, from room headings down to object labels. It only ever suggests: which version goes live is your decision as curator.

CuraSpace keeps texts for panels, interpretation sheets, websites, easy-to-read language and further language versions together: one object, multiple versions, one history, right through to narrated audio stations. The AI runs in the EU and doesn't store your inputs. Every AI output shows how confident it is and what it's based on. Only what you approve gets published.

Module 04

Project Planning & Loan Traffic

An exhibition is a project with many threads running over months. CuraSpace keeps it visible in one place: who does what by when, which deadline comes next, which process is overdue.

When loans are involved, the process begins months before opening with the requests and ends with courier escort and condition reports. Insurance confirmations, packing, deadlines, responses from many museums: CuraSpace holds all of this together in one process, from first contact to return. Who's waiting on which confirmation and when which insurance expires is visible to everyone it concerns.

The AI drafts the first versions — the request letter, the courier briefing, the condition-report template — but nothing goes out unreviewed. Museums with heavy loan traffic save the most time here, since every process done by hand ties up hours.

First weeks

What onboarding looks like

First meeting: thirty minutes to clarify which processes take up the most time at your museum and which system holds your collection data. After that, we set up the connection — a standard procedure for the common systems, usually within days. The first processes go live two to four weeks after the start. Your team's training runs alongside this phase, directly on real processes.

Bring your next exhibition together in one place.

We're currently welcoming a small number of pilot partners and building CuraSpace together with them. In a first 30-minute conversation, we'll show you how CuraSpace fits your museum.
