What is CuraSpace?
CuraSpace is the shared workspace for exhibitions, loan traffic and visitor interpretation. Concept, object research, texts, planning and loans come together in one place, visible to everyone working on them. An AI gets to know your exhibition and makes suggestions that fit your museum.
Does CuraSpace work with our collection management system (for example MuseumPlus, Daphne, Axiell or museum-digital)?
Yes. CuraSpace builds on your existing collection management system and adds the shared workspace on top. Your system stays the home of your collection, CuraSpace adds the ongoing exhibition work.
Do we need to migrate our data?
No. Your data stays in your system and in your hands. CuraSpace only reads what's needed for the ongoing processes, and the connection can be undone at any time.
What does CuraSpace cost?
One license per museum, tiered by museum size: Tier 1 from €250, Tier 2 from €590, and Tier 3 from €1,390 per month, each plus VAT. Every tier includes the full feature set, unlimited exhibitions and participants. Only loan traffic is a module you add when you need it. Cancel monthly, or save ten percent by paying annually.
How does the AI help with exhibition work?
The AI knows the context of your exhibition: guiding idea, visitor path, objects and texts. At every stage, the right tool is ready at hand. It checks perspectives, sharpens the thesis, drafts texts for every level, and translates. Every suggestion shows what it's based on, and you decide what gets used.
Where is our data hosted, and what about data protection?
Your data is hosted in the EU and processed under European data protection law. What you give the AI, it doesn't keep. And you get your data back in full at any time.
Do we need our own IT department for this?
No. CuraSpace runs in the browser, no installation required. We set up the connection to your collection management system together with you — for the common systems, within a few days.
Which museums is CuraSpace suited for?
For museums of every size, most of all where a few hands carry many tasks at once. Whether art, municipal history, natural history or privately run — with or without existing collection management software.
How does setup work, and how quickly are we up and running?
A first thirty-minute conversation clarifies which processes take up the most time at your museum. After that, we set up the connection — the first processes usually go live two to four weeks after the start. Your team's training happens directly on real processes.
Can we try CuraSpace first?
Yes. We're currently welcoming a small number of pilot partners and building CuraSpace together with them. Early pilot partners benefit from reduced rates and personal onboarding. A first conversation shows how CuraSpace fits your museum.
