The shared workspace for museums

More time per exhibition. Stronger content in-house.

CuraSpace brings exhibitions, loan traffic and visitor interpretation together in one place: deadlines, responsibilities and overdue items stay visible to everyone working on them. Along the way, an AI gets to know your exhibition and makes suggestions that fit your museum. CuraSpace builds on your existing collection management system and extends it.

Status quo

Everything's there, just not in one place.

In many museums, a handful of people handle curation, interpretation, marketing and administration all at once. An exhibition often starts one to two years before opening and continues long after. In between lie texts in multiple versions, deadlines, the selection from your own collection as well as loans with insurance and couriers. All processes that, each on its own, still mean manual work.

Most museums already have a system for their collection. What's missing is the shared workspace on top of it that holds these processes together: who's waiting on which confirmation, what goes out next, which process is overdue. That's where CuraSpace comes in.

Our approach

A workspace for everyone working on the exhibition. Built on top of your existing system, in four modules.

Module 01

Connected to your collection

CuraSpace builds on your existing collection management system while also opening up freely accessible collections for research. Your data doesn't move, it stays exactly where it is. What you research flows directly into your planning.

Module 02

Concept & narrative

An exhibition lives on a guiding idea and a narrative thread running through the rooms. CuraSpace captures this concept as a structure: the guiding idea, sections, and the visitor journey. Objects, texts and tasks attach to the section they belong to.

Module 03

An AI that knows your exhibition

At every stage, from the guiding idea through object selection to room text, the right tool is ready at hand. Because the AI knows the context of your exhibition — guiding idea, visitor path, objects and texts — it checks perspectives, uncovers gaps, sharpens the thesis, and translates along the way. Every suggestion shows what it's based on. You decide.

Module 04

Project planning & loan traffic

An exhibition is a project with many threads running over months. CuraSpace keeps it visible in one place: who does what by when, which deadline comes next, what's overdue. When loans are involved, requests, insurance and couriers run within the same process.

Who we are

Built on twenty years of exhibition practice.

CuraSpace is being built at Neue Dialoge. Behind it stand twenty years of exhibition work: digital media and software for museums such as the Weltmuseum Wien, the Jewish Museum Berlin and the Natural History Museum Stuttgart, often together with studios like Atelier Brückner and Ralph Appelbaum Associates. Several of these exhibitions have won the German Design Award and the Red Dot Award.

For the permanent exhibition at the Weltmuseum Wien, this work produced the entire digital interpretation programme, a hundred formats under one roof. CuraSpace is exactly that experience, now as a tool.

Sovereignty

Sovereign from the ground up.

Your data is hosted in the EU and processed under European data protection law. What you give the AI, it doesn't keep. Our contracts are tailored to public institutions, so procurement and legal review go through without detours.

What this means in detail

Become a pilot partner in 2026.

We're currently welcoming a small number of museums to help us build out CuraSpace together. Early pilot partners benefit from reduced rates, direct input into development, and personal onboarding.
